3972 cannabis plants seized in WA town
The haul is believed to be the second biggest ever recorded in Western Australia, following a 7,500 cannabis plant discover last October.
WA Police was quick to present their seizure to the public for approval on Facebook. Claiming 3,972 plants had been taken into custody, along with 50-60 kg of cannabis head, a van, and a tractor.
The items were discovered at a property in Bambun, a 1-hour drive north of Perth.
No arrests were made.
Police officers carried out the raid last Thursday as part of the investigation into the South-East Asian organised crime syndicates and cannabis grow houses across the Perth metro area.
