$1.5 million worth of cannabis found in Hyundai
What would have been a routine traffic stop has turned into a massive haul of cannabis for Queensland police.
About 64 kilometres west of Brisbane, in the small town of Minden, a Hyundai iLoad was pulled over on the Warrego Highway at around 7pm on March 11, 2019.
It's unsure what led police to search the car, but once complete they were walking away with more than 250 kilograms of cannabis. Adding up to be valued at around $1.5 million on the street.
The man driving the vehicle, a 27-year-old from Laidley, was charged with possessing dangerous drugs.
He's due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Queensland Police were kind enough to film the routine traffic stop for us.
