13 cannabis cautions issued at Ultra Music Festival in Parramatta

Over 20,000 people attended Ultra Music Festival on Sunday, February 24th, which featured Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, Adam Beyer, Illesium, Marshmello, and Dubfire B2B w/ Nicole Moudaber. As usual, police were in high attendance maintaining a visible presence and being accompanied by a dog unit. 395 searches were conducted with only 25% (98) of them returning a positive drug detection. 29 criminal infringement notices (on the spot fine) were issued by police - 28 for possession of MDMA and 1 for cocaine. No criminal charges were laid for cannabis possession, but 13 warnings were issued. There were a total of 45 criminal charges laid, including 10 for supply. 10 people were taken to hospital by ambulance, all of which are currently in a stable condition.
