Australia's leading cannabis law reform advocates upcoming livestream

For the past two years, a committee in Victoria has led an 'Inquiry into the use of cannabis' of which 89% of public submissions made supported the full legalisation of cannabis.

The report was officially released in the past few weeks coming with 21 findings and 17 recommendations. Unfortunately, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews quickly shut down any notion of cannabis law reform in the near future. As such, some of Australia's leading advocates for cannabis law reform are gathering on Facebook Live to discuss the future of cannabis in Australia.

Hosting the event is MP Fiona Patten of the Reason Party along with her colleague Emma Sinclair. Two MPs from the Legalise Cannabis Party will be joining them - MP Sofia Moermond and MP Dr Brian Walker.

Fiona Patten who chaired the inquiry will break down the report's findings with two MPs from across the Nullarbor to get a picture of what happens next for cannabis reform.

The event is free for anyone to attend and if you're interested in the future of cannabis across Australia, we definitely recommend you join.

It will be hosted on Facebook Live starting at 9:15 am (+10 GMT) on Friday, August 20th.
