Founded in April 2020 by Alex Hewitt, Charles Powell and Shaun Anderson, SunCo Green Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd is a 100% locally-owned and operated medical cannabis company.
SunCo Green aims to provide high-quality medical cannabis products to Australians with a prescription. Theirproducts are available through CanView (a medicinal cannabis platform run by Burleigh Heads Cannabis). The company also has a two-year supply agreement with MediPharm Labs.
SunCo Green values social responsibility and takes an environmentally-aware approach to medicinal cannabis production. The company is based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and has a facility in South Australia. The Office of Drug Control granted both facilities a medicinal cannabis license and a cannabis manufacturing license in October 2021.
SunCo Green is passionate about advocating for medical cannabis and provides stigma-free information to patients and healthcare professionals through its SunCo Green Medical Portal.
