HempGro

WA Hemp Growers' Co-op Ltd, or 'HempGro', is a co-op organisation based in Western Australia. HempGro is an industry group that supports and uplifts the voices of hemp farmers, companies that produce hemp and people within WA's hemp industry. 

Specifically, HempGro provides advice and guidance to help hemp growers to maximise their crop yields. Membership to HempGro is open to anyone with a current license to grow or process hemp. The organisation charges a membership fee and sells hemp seeds to members. 

HempGro is a non-distributing Co-op, meaning it aims to operate without making a profit and gives members rebates where possible. The organisation runs on seven key principles, including:

1. Open membership
2. Democratic member control
3. Economic Participation
4. Autonomy and independence
5. Education, training and information
6. Cooperation
7. Concern for community 

HempGro also places a strong emphasis on sustainable farming.
