Once this appointment is booked, patients have the option of seeing a registered doctor via telehealth or face to face consultation to discuss their condition, symptoms, and appropriate treatment options. The doctor will provide information on medicinal cannabis and if appropriate, a prescription will be supplied, or an alternative treatment plan will be suggested. After the prescription is prescribed, a partner pharmacy will ship the medication directly to the patient’s home.

Patients looking to receive care from CannaDoc will have to provide a referral from their treating doctor. A form is available on CannaDoc’s website, but the doctor’s own referral format is also acceptable. Patients should provide their referral and health summary documents to book an appointment.
